Winter event in Manawa scheduled for February 19-20

Second year students at Iola-Scandinavia High School Vivian Stelse, Myah and Maci Heschke will reign as royalty for Snodeo de Manawa, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday February 19 and 20.
Stelse was chosen as Snodeo Queen. Daughter of Greg and Leah Stelse, she said she was honored to represent the annual event.
âI love the community,â she says. âOthers should definitely participate in Snodeo. You meet a lot of great people. The Snodeo team do an amazing job of putting everything together and making it a fun winter activity.
During the winter, Stelse enjoys skating with friends and watching the Snodeo.
The Heschkes, daughters of Jeff and Sarah Heschke, will serve as princesses for the event.
âI feel honored to be a princess at Manawa Snodeo because it’s such a big winter event,â Myah said. âI enjoy participating in community events and activities. “
âThe Snodeo is a great community event,â said Maci. “I feel honored to have been chosen as the Snow Princess with my friend and my sister.”
Myah enjoys snowmobiling and cross-country skiing, while Maci enjoys snowmobiling, skiing, tubing and ice fishing.
âEveryone should come to Snodeo to learn what it’s all about and enjoy the winter season,â Myah said.
âI would recommend this fun winter activity to others,â Maci added. âIt’s a great way to help support your community. “
