Kanye West still can’t sell an $11 million Wyoming ranch with an equestrian center, go-kart track and TWO freshwater lakes

KANYE West can’t find a buyer for his $11million Wyoming ranch eight months later – after dropping plans to move his Yeezy fashion HQ, The Sun can report exclusively.

In October 2021, the 44-year-old rapper and entrepreneur listed the 3,888-acre lot for sale with real estate agent JW Robinson, of DBW Real Estateafter buying it two years earlier.

Robinson told a Cody Enterprise local outlet at the time: “We showed the property three times a week, answering about 50 or more calls a week.”

But two-thirds of a year later, despite what would be around 1,700 calls and 100 visits, there are still no signs of a buyer for the “unique property”.

The grounds include two freshwater trophy lakes, equipment sheds, equestrian facilities, a clubhouse and a go-kart track, which Kanye had set up.

Realtors listed it as “61 Nielsen Rd”, deciding not to use the name Kanye gave it – West Lake Ranch – or its original nickname, Monster Lake Ranch.

According to TMZ, the land ranch has eight accommodation units and is known for fishing “monster trout.”

The stalled sale isn’t the only problem Ye is facing as he is also trying to get rid of various assets he owns in the Cowboy State after apparently abandoning plans to move his clothing brand Yeezy to the city. small rural town of Cody, which has a population of only 9,810.

Kanye, through his company Psalm Cody Commercial LLC, has listed various commercial properties and vacant lots scattered around the city for sale, The Sun can confirm.

He sold land for $1.3 million in November that was supposed to be Yeezy’s regional headquarters, but it never materialized.

On the ground, his team had erected a giant fabric tent to serve as a temporary storage place to stage the “future businesses”.

The Cody Planning and Zoning Board allowed him to keep the tent until it was sold, but this month the new owners were told to tear it down, despite their offer to make cosmetic improvements to the structure. of storage of 4,800 square feet. .

According to Cody Enterprise, Acting Chairman of the Board Scott Richard said, “It comes down to the architecture, is it suitable for the neighborhood?”

Kanye originally moved to the estate after it broke down in 2020 and made it his base during his presidential campaign.

Prominent residents have since blamed him for deserting the city and flouting planning laws.

City Mayor Matt Hall told the local Casper Star-Tribune newspaper that “West has promised to bring dozens of jobs to Cody and employ a local workforce, [but] no more than a handful of locals completed design work for him.”

The Sun has reached out to Kanye’s rep for comment.

Park County Commissioner Joe Tilden added that they tried to fast-track his hastily put together plans, but “it all sort of fell apart and caused us a lot of anxiety.”

Forbes reported that Kanye said in 2019, “Cody is a great place to stay if you want to work with a real, living, true, breathing founder who cares about humanity.”

Meanwhile, he also failed to sell a two-acre commercial property with a 6,900-square-foot building featuring five bedrooms in the basement and another five downstairs function rooms with laundry facilities and a full kitchen, listed on the DBW Realty website. for $739,000.

He had better luck getting rid of three vacant lots at $138,000 each, another at $200,000 and a fifth at $549,000, according to documents seen by The Sun.

A property he sublet for “Yeezy Productions,” costing pharmaceutical company Lannet $108,000 a year, is now up for sale for $2.5 million.

One of the luxury SUVs in Kanye’s fleet also failed to sell, despite being advertised as “celebrity-owned raptors”.

All eight vehicles were auctioned by Musser Bros, one of which – a 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor 4WD – did not win any bids.

The other vehicles, which were Ford Raptors, Ford F350s or Ford Expeditions, all sold for between $39,250 and $79,000, with the highest bids being over 100.

Kanye has recorded albums on his ranch and hosted a number of events on the estate, including his Sunday Service concerts.

His future ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and their four children – North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 – have also been pictured on the site over the years.

They have enjoyed outdoor activities on the ranch, including horseback riding and playing on ATVs on trips away from their primary residence in Calabasas, Los Angeles, which Kim keeps amid their divorce.
