Joseph A. White, 73, of Plain City, died Saturday, March 12, 2022 at OSU Medical Center. Joseph was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 3, 1948.
He was a staff sergeant. in the Marine Corp from 1968 to 1974. Joseph worked as a supervisor at Honda Transmissions for over 20 years and was the No. 7 clock. He enjoyed going fishing at Watts Bar Lake in Ten Mile, Tennessee. Joseph was a coon hunter and raised Red Bone Coon Hounds. He was an avid fan of college sports and was Ohio State University’s number one fan.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents: Joseph & Maxine (Lombard) White; married for 36 years: Jeannie (Trout) White – 2016; brother and sister-in-law: Joseph Lowell & Nadine White; brother: Phillip White, grandson: Derrick “JS” White; stepfather: Buddy Trout; loyal companion: Princess Lady Bug. He is survived by his children: Christy Lynn (David Swift) Morgan, Anthony Scott White; granddaughter: Mara Swift; siblings: John (Carolyn) Schreck, Roxana (James) Mink, Donald (Lynda) White, Frank White, Mary (Andy) Furr; mother-in-law: Loretta (Myers) Trout; sisters-in-law: Margaret White, Lisa Seale, Linda (Tony) Dana; “friend”: Bobbi Hevelin.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main Street, Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 with Pastor Phil Conrad officiating. . Burial Forest Grove Cemetery with military honors led by the Union County Honor Guard.
