Just in time for the new school year, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has partnered with Pubbly – a digital education company – to launch five interactive games that engage and educate students of all ages about marine fisheries conservation. .
Take a virtual fishing trip, match habitats with Florida fish species, remove trash and invading lionfish from a reef, learn proper fish handling techniques, and perform virtual fish dissection. The games are designed for grade four and up, but can be enjoyed by students and adults of all ages. Activities put marine science at your fingertips, providing accessible content for the home or classroom and tips to use on saltwater fishing trips.
