By BBN staff: It has been more than five months since fisherman Jarid Usher, 30, disappeared, and his family are still offering a reward of $ 20,000 for finding him.
Usher was last seen on July 5, going on a fishing trip in his “Blessed Youth” skiff, but has never been seen or heard from since.
The skiff was found intact on July 8 with no sign of Usher or indication of what might have happened to it. The Belize Coast Guard assisted in the search and the area where the skiff was found; helicopter searches were also carried out, but without success.
In August, the reward for finding him was doubled from $ 10,000 to $ 20,000.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 604-9840 or the nearest police station.
