Jackson County

Jackson County is on the South Carolina - North Carolina border and is surrounded by Macon, Swain, Haywood and Translyvania counties.  Sylva, Cullowhee and Cashiers are three of the major towns within the county.   The Blue Ridge Parkway skirts the eastern side of the county.   Part of the Cherokee Indian Reserve lies in the northern tip of the county.
