Jumping on the Wagon!
07/16/12 at 11:04pm

Hi all
Just thought I would introduce myself. Just found out WCO had a forum after ordering a rod from the online store.

My name is Jason, I live in Durham, NC and also a NC native. I've been fly fishing for a long time now. I fish for anything that will eat a fly, from stripers to hornyheads its all fare game, but trout are definitely at the top or list. And I spend way to much time tying flies.

I've already recognized a few names from other message boards and I'm looking forward to hanging out with you guys.

BTW Scott, I love the rod. Thanks again!

Welcome Jason, glad to have you on board.  Check out the post and take a look at the Let's Go Fishing threads.  We usually have a group trip up or individuals will post something.  We do have a group being planned for mid-October so if you can read it and if interested come join us.

Hey Jason, I am Connor. We try to organize and meet up a lot on here. Our small community is friendly, and we rendezvous regularly all around WNC in search of monsters. As Dail said, keep your eye out for someone looking to fish, in the lets go fishing section because you dont want to miss these trips when you see pics!!!!

Thats why I signed up. It seemed like a smaller community where you could get to know people better, than on a message board with a 1000 regular posters. I'm definitely going to keep that Oct trip in mind.

Ya we are a personal group, and a lot of us know eachother from doing trips over the years. I am sure someone would be glad to take you out one day and show you some good water!!!
