Some are some aren't. I work enough that even online classes are as difficult as going to class. But amidst my surveying I also take a lot of classes for work. I took welding to become certified for work. Shop ethics, and other stupid classes to look good for my boss. We have a transmission specialist at my work, and I am taking classes to learn everything about transmissions, so I can build under Mitch as my mentor. Transmissions are where the money is as far as working on cars. I have 96 out of 128 credits towards my Bachelors in Geomatics though. But some classes don't count because of their unreality to my program. I don't want to move to Greensboro yet because of my job that I like, so Geomatics is more or less at a standstill for me. I really only have one semester left in Charlotte before I have to decide to advance or sit on my job for more time. I guess you could break it down into an associates in surveying and an associates in automotive advanced diagnostic program, but I dont need the second degree because I was given the opportunity that those students dream of. Somebody believed in me and gave me a chance. I feel it is irrelevant for me to take the basic Auto 110-172 classes which are stuff like brakes, suspension, and various engine stuff because I already have experience that outweighs the class itself. Wasting money IMO. One day I will be done with school though.
