Make sure you take it out at least every hour at 1st. Stay outside for at least 10 minutes. Go out the same door every time. If there is an accident or you see 1 about to happen a simple no will work and immediately go outside. Repetition is the key, after a while your dog will give you a "sign" that it has to go out. My male puts his head on my lap when he has to go, and my female licks my hands or his face. My dad's 1 dog barks at him.
