Make sure you take it out at least every hour at 1st. Stay outside for at least 10 minutes. Go out the same door every time. If there is an accident or you see 1 about to happen a simple no will work and immediately go outside. Repetition is the key, after a while your dog will give you a "sign" that it has to go out. My male puts his head on my lap when he has to go, and my female licks my hands or his face. My dad's 1 dog barks at him.

Thanks guys!  Yeah i have been taking it out about every hour but for some reason it doesnt want to go outside yet.  Most of the time, within about 10-15 minutes after bringing it back in it will then go to the bathroom.  Most of the time it will go on the puppy pad but sometimes it will pee on the floor.  One thing that suprised me is that sometime last night while I was asleep it did use the puppy pad without any help at all.

That is also a "puppy" thing. Sometimes they're afraid of going outside or too interested in playing. That'll change in a little while though. The main thing is just remaining consistent on the training and the pup will learn.
