Looking for tractor parts
12/04/10 at 8:57pm

I recently inherited an Economy Powerking Tractor and am looking for the implements that were available. The tractor has a 14hp kohler engine with pto and is in good shape overall. I plan on restoring the tractor to its original condition and would like to have any and all of the many implements to restore as well. Thanks for reading!

What year is it?
And did you ever get the gray tractor back that was taken from your garage?

The 14hp motor is going to be simple to find parts for, but depending on the year is going to make it difficult to find the odds and ends to make a complete restoration.

The year is 1977 and no, we never heard anything else of our Craftsman. Most parts are easy enough to find, replacement decals are even available but the implements may be another story. I spoke with a guy from Taylor, TX that has been selling parts for these tractors for 30+ years and he said the only part I will have trouble replacing will be the original 5 spline front tires. Apparently, they are nearly impossible to get.

I already have a big tractor for the serious yard work. This one will just be a winter project to occupy my time when I am not fishing.
